Kingsthorpe Grove: Nurturing Inclusion and Creativity
Welcome from Mrs Dolan
We are very proud at Kingsthorpe Grove to be an inclusive, creative and diverse school community. We are a large primary school in Northampton town with 2 classes per year group, a vibrant Nursery, a fantastic SEN Unit and SEMH outreach support to schools who have children with SEMH needs.
Our strong, well-trained staff team are committed to enabling all children to learn and progress to the best of their ability. Teachers offer challenge and support to all children and care passionately about their happiness and welfare.
We have a wealth of experience and expertise within our pastoral Inclusion Team. With Family Support Workers and a behaviour specialist as well as a Learning Mentor. Families, as well as children, are supported and encouraged with advice and practical help.
Empowering Excellence: Where Every Child Thrives
High quality PE is delivered by trained Sports Coaches who deliver lessons every week to cover a broad range of sporting activities in PE.
Our children love the clubs that are on offer before and after school. All of our sports clubs are popular but many children enjoy gardening club, art and craft club and our cookery clubs. Clubs are another way in which we encourage and develop children's independence, confidence and social skills.
You are more than welcome to come and visit our lovely school. You will see our busy, purposeful classrooms, our warm and welcoming environments, our cookery room and our fantastic IT facilities as well as our large playground and field. More importantly you will get to meet our fabulous children of whom we are so proud.
