Special Educational Needs

At Kingsthorpe Grove Primary School, We pride ourselves on catering for children who may have difficulties with accessing the curriculum.  We never discriminate against a child, and will always endeavour to meet their needs, within reason.

To help us achieve this, we have a very dedicated team of people who make up our inclusion team. They are led by our Inclusion Manager, Angela Woods, and if you have any concerns about your child and their education, then please ask to speak to her.

Our SEND Team

Our Inclusion Policy, lays out all of the provision that we make to support children who have additional needs. See below.

Accessibility and Equality

Accessibility

At Kingsthorpe Grove Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that all children, families and members of staff are able to access our site and our curriculum.  We commission an Accessibility Audit every three years to ensure that we comply with the latest legislation.

Equality

We adhere to the Equality Act 2010: advice for schools (updated June 2018).  This ensures that we do not discriminate against pupils because of their sex, race, disability, religion or belief or sexual orientation.
