Request for leave of absence form

Under the guidelines outlined by the Department for Education we cannot automatically authorise term time leave.

Unfortunately due to the Government's Directive NO holiday leave will be authorised at Kingsthorpe Grove Primary School.

Exceptional circumstances will be reviewed by the Head Teacher.

If parents take children out of school for an unauthorised period, then they may be liable to pay a fixed penalty notice of £60 (per parent per child) within 21 days of receipt of the notice.  This rises to £120 if paid after 21 days but within 28 days of receipt. 

The Educational Entitlement Service at the Local Authority will issue the fixed penalty notice.
